Fire Procedure

ON HEARING WARNING OF A FIRE:

In the event of a fire, the alarms within the building will sound automatically.

On hearing the alarm guests should:

• Alert all persons under their charge – or make sure that they have been alerted
• All persons should evacuate the premises quickly but calmly by the nearest exit and proceed to the assembly point located opposite The Spires Building down the right-hand side of commercial street and outside Associated Architects office
• Before leaving, check that all persons within your apartment have left the premises
• Close all doors of rooms and those through which you pass on leaving the building
• Ensure that the Fire Brigade are called immediately on hearing a fire warning – dial 999 and give the full address of The Spires when connected to the operator
• Do not enter the building until a Fire Brigade Officer has stated that it is safe to do so

Our Fire System testing takes place every Friday between 13:30-14:00
