Aberdeen has plenty of places to visit and dine at. Wander down to the harbour and spot dolphins, visit Aberdeen Maritime Museum or perhaps play a round of golf at one of the many courses in Aberdeenshire.

Visit Aberdeen Christmas Village in Broad Street from 12th November and enjoy the festive ambiance and look for gifts, ride on the helter-skelter or Ferris wheel. Alongside the Christmas Village at Marischal Square, the craft and artisan market, Curated in the Square, will take place each weekend from 13th November.

The Spires Birmingham is centrally located and within walking distance of attractions, shops and restaurants. Take a stroll alongside the canal to Brindleyplace and enjoy tree-lined squares and an attractive backdrop with plenty of places to eat. Other recommendations include a trip to Cadbury World, shopping at the Bullring and Grand Central and a visit to The Jewellery Quarter.

During December head to Centenary Square for ice skating, venture to the NEC for Winter Funland from 5th December or stroll into Cathedral Square for the renowned Frankfurt Christmas Market. Sample bratwurst, schnitzels, pretzels and German wheat beer whilst enjoy the festivities from 5th November.

Explore Cardiff on foot from The Spires and visit Cardiff Castle, Bute Park or the National Museum. For exhilaration, head to Cardiff International White Water and experience the likes of white-water rafting, kayaking and even ‘hotdogging’ for an adrenaline-filled tandem adventure. p>For day trips outside the city, head to the coast at Whitmore Bay with its long sandy beach, Aberavon beach in Port Talbot or Rest Bay beach, all within driving distance.

The Spires Edinburgh central location is within walking distance of several landmarks and famous sites. Take an energetic walk to Arthur’s Seat, visit Edinburgh Castle or enjoy the many nearby shops and restaurants.

The Edinburgh Christmas Market returns from 14th November and will host a sprawling winter wonderland across four areas, including George Street and East Princes Street Gardens, both within a short walk from The Spires.

Glasgow offers plenty of places to visit and explore. Recommendations include visiting the Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Park and perhaps even a Whisky walking tour with a guided pub crawl!

Visit St Enoch Square Market from 5th November, less than a ten-minute walk from The Spires and visit cozy wooden chalets with crafts for sale, sample seasonal food or enjoy the views from the Observation Wheel. Plus, have family fun at Glasgow Green Winter Wonderland from 20th November and enjoy the ice rink, Ferris wheel and Circus Big Top hosting festive shows.
