Arrival Information?

Prior to arrival our team will contact you to ensure you have all of your important arrival information.  If they are unbale to reach you by telephone they will then try by email, hence why we require contact details prior to arrival.  If you have not been contacted prior to arrival please call our team on 0345 270 0090 (or +443452700090 from an international number).

What are my options for parking at each of The Spires locations?

Aberdeen. Ample free onsite private parking is available.

Birmingham. Limited onsite parking is available at £15/day and can be reserved by calling us at time of booking. Discounted parking at Q-Park, The Mailbox, 7 Commercial Street, located directly opposite The Spires. Satnav: B1 1RD. This needs to be prebooked using a code which will be provided prior to arrival.

Alternatively, there is a public car park located on Brunel Street, B1 1TA which is called Town Hall Multi-Storey Car Park (locally known as the Cage Car Park due to it's design).  The cost of parking starts from £16.40 for 24 hours.  Full details can be found by clicking here.

Cardiff. Limited onsite parking is available at £15/day and can be reserved by calling us at time of booking. Alternatively, pay and display parking is available at nearby Sophia Gardens. Satnav: CF11 9SZ.

Edinburgh. Car parking is not available on site. Discounted car parking is available at Q-Park OMNI Greenside Place.  They offer a 35% discount off of their advertised rates. Satnav: EH1 3AN. Reception will provide you with a voucher to enable a discounted rate to be applied.  Click here to visit their website.

Glasgow. Car parking is not available on site. Discounted car parking of £7.95 per day is available at NCP Glassford Street. Satnav: G1 1UP. Reception will provide a code to be used in the NCP mobile phone app.

Anyone using our car park(s) do so at their own risk.  The management will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss to vehicles.

What time is check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 2pm. Check-out is by 10am.

Is housekeeping included?

On stays longer than 7 nights we offer weekly servicing.  A more regular service can be offered for an additional fee.

Are towels and linen provided?

Towels and bed linen are provided at all properties.

How is payment taken for my reservation?

Payment is taken by debit or credit card only. For Super Advanced Purchase reservations guests will be sent an email within 24 hours of making reservation with a payment link for full pre-payment. Best available Room Only and Breakfast rates do not require payment at time of booking and will be sent a payment link 7 days prior to the arrival date to enable payment to be made through our secure payment portal. All payments are required prior to arrival.

What is the pet policy at The Spires?

The Spires Serviced Apartments Aberdeen, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Glasgow offer its guests pet friendly accommodation.

Guests travelling with pets will be charged a pet fee of £10 per night with a minimum charge of £20 and maximum charge of £50, which is used to cover the deep cleaning of the apartment on departure.

In addition to the one off fee, guests will be required to complete a ‘Pet Disclaimer Form’. By doing so, the guest agrees to be liable for the costs of any damages caused by the pet during the stay. Should a guest refuse to sign the disclaimer, The Spires Serviced Apartments UK Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the reservation with immediate effect.

All guests who have a pet with them must have prior agreement from Management and will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of The Spires pet policy, which is provided at the time of booking.

What is the child policy at The Spires?

Children are welcome at The Spires. With a selection of 2 bedroom apartments families will benefit from greater space than a hotel room and at a fraction of the cost of booking 2 hotel bedrooms.

Cots are available for babies and young children free of charge and can be used in all studios and apartments.

Do you offer long term leases or rates on a monthly basis?

Although there is no limit to how long you stay with us, our rates are always on a nightly basis.  We do not offer monthly rates.

Do you have a lift (elevator)?

Aberdeen - no

Birmingham - yes to all floors

Cardiff - yes to all floors.  Some apartments have steps up to them

Edinburgh - yes to all floors.  Please be aware there is 6 steps up to the lift when you first enter the property

Glasgow - yes to all floors

Can I pay by cash or cheque?

I am afraid not as we only accept credit/debit card payments which must be made through our secure on-line portal.  The payment portal is provided by Secure Trading.  A payment link will be emailed to you the week before you are due to arrive.

Refunds

Please be aware that when The Spires Serviced Apartments are offering any form of refund, this may take between 5 and 7 days to appear back in your bank account.  As this is down to your individual bank to process we have no way of this appearing quicker.

What is the breakfast you offer?

Bed and breakfast rates are available to book, or breakfast can be added at an extra cost.  In Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Glasgow we offer a basic cold breakfast which usually contains the following: croissant (or similar), cereal bar, museli (or similar), yoghurt, fruit juice and milk.  Breakfast is placed into your apartment prior to arrival and then topped up each day.  Aberdeen differs as breakfast is supplied by a local supplier.
