Christmas Pantomime at His Majesty’s Theatre:

Beauty and the Beast

From Sunday 30th of November until Sunday 4th of January.

The Christmas Lights Switch On Parade

Aberdeen City Centre

23rd November 2014


This parade transforms Aberdeen's city centre, Union Street, into a magical winter wonderland, enchanted with glittering lights and decorations. This is free local event.


Aberdeen Country Fair

29th November to 20th December 2014


Aberdeen Country Fair on Belmont Street gives local producers the chance to showcase their produce and goods.

11am-8pm everyday


Aberdeen's Ice Rink returns to the city. Come along to Union Terrace Gardens for family festive fun.


The Christmas Carol Concert

Duthie Park Winter Gardens

20th December 2014

11am & 2pm

Come along and sing to favourite carols at the indoor garden, taking in the rare and exotic plants while listening to the accompaniment of music performed by a talented brass band.


Hogmanay Celebrations

31st December 2014

Come along and enjoy live music from local bands performing onstage and an impressive fireworks display fired from the rooftop of HMT to see in 2015
